Diesel is still diesel in Polish. :P That or ‘olej napdowy’, or simply ‘ropa’ (but those only work when you want to describe the fuel, not the kind of engine).

I grew up in a very Polish town and could get them on every street corner, but I’ve moved away and can’t get them anymore. I really miss them. And golabki too.
